The XV HD pad is equipped with more EVA foam than previous models to better absorb shock and collisions and to increase durability.
The pad has improved moisture and climate management, which allows air to flow through the pad, helping to dry the body and assist in its natural cooling function.
The XV HD OL/DL has an exclusive non-epaulet(epaulet=small epaulet) design that is only available from Schutt. By omitting the epaulet, you have a huge advantage as the opponent has no chance to grab you and get control over you.
Nevertheless, the XV HD OL/DL offers optimal protection with maximum freedom of movement.
